Love Wolverton Construction Progress
Share
Construction has begun on Love Wolverton, a major town centre regeneration project in Wolverton, Milton Keynes.
Delivered by Milton Keynes City Council and TOWN, the project will create new homes, shops, public spaces and community facilities.
The start on site marks a significant milestone for a project that has been shaped through years of collaboration with local residents, businesses, community organisations and the Council. It follows the Council’s decision earlier this year to approve funding to bring forward the regeneration of the long-vacant site.

Wolverton’s central square.
Love Wolverton will deliver 115 new homes, including affordable housing and Still Green, a 29-home cohousing community for people aged over 50. Around 1,000 square metres of space will be dedicated to shops, cafés and small businesses, helping to strengthen Wolverton’s independent high street and support local economic activity.
The development reinstates the historic street pattern lost when the Agora was built in the 1970s, reconnecting Church Street and the Market Square through the return of Radcliffe Street. New streets, courtyards and public spaces will create a walkable neighbourhood that better integrates the site with the wider town centre.
Construction is expected to continue through to 2028, with further updates to be shared as the project progresses.
