Open day for Northstowe Cohousing.

On Sunday, around 30 people joined an Open Day to find out more about the new cohousing neighbourhood in Northstowe, being brought forward by TOWN and Hill.
This event focused on Block C, the second cohousing community that will be delivered on TOWN’s parcel at Northstowe.

The day began with a tour of TOWN’s Marmalade Lane, giving visitors a chance to see what living in cohousing looks like in practice. Back in Northstowe, exhibition boards from July’s public engagement were on display as guests arrived for coffee, cake and a chance to meet the team and other people interested in living in Northstowe Cohousing.
The TOWN team set out the current designs, home layouts, indicative pricing and construction timeline, ahead of a planning application submission later this year. The afternoon focused on next steps for forming the group that will eventually make Northstowe Cohousing their home.

This event marks an important stage in the project’s journey, as interest in cohousing at Northstowe continues to grow as we get closer towards key project milestones.
