Neil Murphy cofounded TOWN in 2014 with Jonny Anstead, and together they lead the business.

His career spans central government policymaking, city and regional planning, and urban regeneration and growth at a wide range of scales, giving him a broad perspective on urbanism and development. Neil leads several of TOWN’s major projects, including Love Wolverton in Milton Keynes – a 115-home regeneration of the historic town centre delivered in partnership with Milton Keynes Council – and Angel Yard in Norwich, a 30-home cohousing community.

Neil holds an honours degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford. He is a Visiting Fellow in the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape at Newcastle University, an Academician of the Academy of Urbanism and a Fellow of the RSA.
